Welllll, not his (Idris Elba) mind...but HIS (God's) mind....yes I did use a sex symbol to get your attention...ohhhh well, you'll be okay...but I do need to get a point across..
*clears throat* I wouldn't mind being on Idris Elba's mind...i'm just saying. Annnnyway, before I lose some people...It does something to me to know that I'm on someone's mind...that good feeling rushes over me, whether it's my Mama or any other family member, or my friends, or just someone who thought enough to think of me and say or do something. And my, my, my if it's that special someone and he actually verbalizes it or gives me a gift, or does soemthing for me, well my whole day gets better. That foolishness that's been going on, I forget about it. You know that you do too...he or she sends you that special text message, or a quick phone call, flowers, a gift or whatever it is to let you know that you're on they're mind. Butterflies stir up in us ladies and men, well your egos bloooowww up!
But then they fail you or they forget about you, or they're not consistent, or they're too busy caught up with what's going on with on themselves. They don't display any form of thoughtfulness or concern, whether intentionally, or unintentionally, then that's when all hell breaks loose. Sometimes we keep it bottled up and sometimes we goooo off...I'll take the latter for $500 Alex (excuse me, but He's still working on me...a deep, gentle work)
We're always on God's mind, always! And to sit and think that I'm on HIS mind does something way more than just cause butterflies in my stomach or a smile on my face. The one person that I've turned my back on, dishonored, disrepected, disobeyed, not even thought about on soooo many occasions...I'm on HIS mind! Unbelievable? Almost...but Psalms 139: 17-18, God, your thoughts are precious to me. They are so many! If I could count them, they would be more than all the grains of sand. When I wake up, I am still with you. He thinks about us so much, until His thoughts can't be numbered. How do you know He thought about you? He woke you up this morning.
I'm sure the next thought for some is "He woke me up, but everything is going wrong." Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome....Not only does he has thoughts about you but he has plans for you...
No good father wants their child to suffer...are there lessons to be taught? Yes, but His thoughts are always that you become your best, that you have the best...you have to let go (lose control) and trust Him on this...
And then for some, you know he has your best interest at heart, but you just don't see what you've been looking for...yet Psalms 138:8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. He is thinking about you and working on everything that concerns you...everything...the word concerned is really what hits me...because it's one thing to think about me (my enemies can think about me) but it's "a whole nother" thing to know that God is concerned about you me...
You're on HIS mind, and when HE thinks about you, HE has plans for your peace and for your good, and then HE works it all out! Now that REAL LOVE! (Check out the link at the end of this psot for addtional information on being on God's mind)

A weeklong meditation/devotional about being on God's mind
Me being the unique child of God that I am...I attempted to "write the vision" in a beautiful journal that a good friend gave me just for this purpose...let me just tell you, I type faster than fast and I rarely write unless absolutely necessary...been typing super fast since 1996...so when I learned about vision and writing it I attempted to several times...especially after a good friend bought be a beautiful journal just for this purpose...I wrote for 3 minutes...hand started hurting...I started getting irritated"....sooooo, my plans are to TYPE the vision...keeping my journal on my laptop and of course backed up as well...as long as you get it out of your mind, out of your spirit, it doesn't matter...just get it out!!! I don't think God has an issue with you typing it...the issues He has is that we don't consult Him and we don't believe...seek Him, believe Him, and get to writing or typing!
Lately, I've been hearing words like "dream" "vision" "faith" "struggles" "storm" "fear" and to me all these words are related...I don't address things in a normal way because I'm not really normal...these days I have no problem being unique sooo don't expect it to be a series that's in perfect order. As it comes to me that's how I will blog/write it....
What is VISION??? Vision can be defined as "the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be...Vision seems to be what I would call a hot word these days, but it's always been there...from what I could tell the word vision appears in the King James Version of the Bible 96 times sooo vision isn't anything new for God's people, or is it? It isn't, it's just some of us act brand new about it...I know I did up until about 2 years ago.
WHAT is WRITING THE VISION??? It is written in KJV Bible in Habakkuk 2:2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. What does that mean? You have to write a vision and not a complicated one, but a simple, effective one for your life...literally write it! It doesn't mean to do what I've been doing...just thinking it and making mental notes...I love what The Message Bible says, "And then God answered: "Write this. Write what you see.Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what's coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn't lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It's on its way. It will come right on time.
LET GO OF THE EXCUSES Let's see...what are some things that you write down or times you write? Grocery list, notes when you're in class, notes when you're in a meeting, teachers write lesson plans, recipes, memos, messages, if you're like me you're texting alllll day, Twitter, Facebook...but you mean to tell me you haven't taken the time or the energy to write down the plan/vision for your life???? Hmph!!! Don't worry about, I haven't either....pitiful!
YOU CAN'T AFFORD NOT TO WRITE IT... I can't say this enough: Write it!!! Not just for your business but also for your education, for your children, for your health, for your relationships, for your career...Make it clear...in your own way, your own style...The Word says it points to what is coming!! You want better? Write it! You want things to fall in place? Write it? You want to see it come to pass? Write it! Stop being lazy and write it! Stop being scared and write it!!! Even if it seems slow to come...keep writing it, reviewing it, and praying it!
